Morocco: Country of Honor at SIA 2025 in France

Discover Morocco, the country of honor at the 2025 International Agricultural Show (SIA), a symbol of friendship, exchange, and agricultural innovation!
Morocco in the Spotlight!
For the first time in 2025, a country will be honored at SIA alongside France: Morocco. The choice of Morocco has deep significance, based on three key commitments.
First, it is a choice of the heart, founded on strong historical and friendly ties between France and Morocco. These relations, nurtured through cultural, economic, and agricultural exchanges, reflect a lasting cooperation and a fraternity that goes beyond borders.
Secondly, it is a choice of exchange, highlighting the commercial relations and fruitful collaborations between the two countries in the agricultural sector.
Finally, this choice represents a vision for the future, symbolizing the prospects for sustainable development and innovation in agriculture on both sides of the Mediterranean.
Proud to Contribute to France’s Global Outreach
A world tour in a single pavilion: Pavilion 5.1 hosts 15 international stands showcasing the richness of global agriculture. Countries represented include Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Congo, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Greece, Italy, Madagascar, Portugal, Senegal, Sudan, Switzerland, and of course, Morocco, the country of honor. SIA also provides an opportunity to discover producers from around the world in Pavilion 5.2.
A Global Map of Cereal Exports
With 35 million tons of cereals and cereal products exported to the European Union and the rest of the world in 2023-2024, France ranks as the 8th largest global cereal exporter. Intercéréales celebrates this strategic position in global trade with the Export Map. This illustration of exported quantities and their destinations can be found in Pavilion 2.2, stand B049, at the cereal industry stand.
Ambassadors’ Morning
Every year, SIA gathers ambassadors stationed in Paris, offering them the opportunity to discover the best of French agriculture. In 2025, they are invited to attend the species parade, specially organized for them on Tuesday, February 25.
Local Development on an International Scale
Once again this year, the French Development Agency (AFD) and the Center for International Cooperation in Agricultural Research for Development (Cirad) will be present at the International Agricultural Show in Pavilion 4. Their work helps spread French knowledge and expertise worldwide, contributing to local agricultural development.
